Really short issue this month folks because I am very pressed for time. Let's hope I can beat the clock and actually get this one out while it's still June!

I have lots of emails to reply to and I will reply to them, just be patient a little while longer

No time to work on a Tank Showcase this month. I will make it up to you next month.

Doin' It Yourself!
Brine Shrimp Cultivation Unit

Edited By Elizabeth M. Lukan, 5/7/05

DIY Brine Shrimp Cultivation Unit by Brad Birch Image 1 Drill a hole in the cover big enough for the air line to fit through.

DIY Brine Shrimp Cultivation Unit by Brad Birch Image 2 Here is the cover after I have glued and siliconed it into place.

DIY Brine Shrimp Cultivation Unit by Brad Birch Image 3 Drill a hole in the bottom of the pop bottle for a vent to let out the air. When first filling this up make sure to plug the hole with your finger.

DIY Brine Shrimp Cultivation Unit by Brad Birch Image 4 This is all I had currently to make a drain for it. The black one come from the bottle, the long clear one on the right goes to the pump and the short one is the drain for taking out some of the shrimp.

DIY Brine Shrimp Cultivation Unit by Brad Birch Image 5 The shelf I made from some scrap wood. All I did was drill a hole in one for the bottle to sit in.
